Our Impact
YASA’s social media campaign has been successful in generating tens of thousands of views and clicks through youtube and facebook. We ask all of our youth advocates a simple question: What can YOU do to promote gender equality! Check out our youtube channel for more responses from our team!
Through the Sale of Govind Ramakrishnan’s Poetry Book My World in 50 words, YASA was able to raise over $15,000 to combat issues of gender inequity and violence in the United States and India. The money was funneled through our Partner, Breakthrough U.S. to fund chosen initiatives in the states and Globally! We will continue to raise money for this worthy cause through multiple avenues.
